Information we use

When you create an account, our sign-in provider, Clerk, handles your authentication. We use your account ID, name and email address to show your account and connect purchases to it. If you choose Google sign-in, Google shares your basic profile and email address with Clerk for that purpose. LemonEdge does not receive your Google password or access to your Gmail, Drive or other Google content.

Purchases take place on Lemon Squeezy. It handles checkout and payment information. We receive and store the order details needed to show your purchases and provide downloads: the purchased product and licence option, order number, price and currency, purchase date, payment or refund status, and licence information when available. We also store the connection between a checkout and your LemonEdge account, and when you last requested a download. Your checkout email may differ from your account email.

How we use it

We use this information to sign you in, display your account and purchase history, provide receipts, licences and downloads, show asset updates, and respond to support requests. We do not use Google sign-in data to access other Google services.

Services and browser data

Clerk provides authentication, Lemon Squeezy processes purchases, and Cloudflare hosts LemonEdge and stores the account-to-purchase records. These services process information as needed to provide their parts of the service. Sign-in uses browser storage or cookies to keep you signed in. Cloudflare may also process technical request information, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver and protect the site. Pages with embedded YouTube videos can send data to YouTube when you load the embed.

Retention and your choices

We keep account and purchase records while needed to provide access to your assets and handle support, refunds, or legal recordkeeping. You can update your profile from your account page. To ask about your information or request account deletion, email us. Some purchase records may need to be retained for legal or accounting reasons.
